My car was in your company last week for service, MOT
and tune.
The car has REALLY noticeably improved in performance –
even my wife noticed and that’s saying something!! I have not yet had time
to check the mpg as I have only just started using the higher grade fuel as
your guy suggested. I am so pleased that I found your company (after a
horrible false start) and will of course continue to use you in the future.
Its so refreshing to find old fashioned values and sure restores your faith.
My son also has a Volvo car and requires a service and
cambelt change, he will be contacting you shortly.

I would like point out that the service I
experienced was fantastic! I was not spending a lot of money but felt that
this make's no difference to the guys at HLM,
they know that peoples cars are their passion
and very much respect that.
Just a special thanks to Natalie and Hamish for
informing me on every detail, keeping me up to date,
and thanks again to Hamish from helping me from
the word go, ( could not get ECU box lid off!)

Hi again and apologies for taking so long to come back to
you...work has unfortunately intruded into most of my spare time in the past two
weeks.
All is still well with the V70R and the car has been excellent since hand
back....so again pass on my sincere thanks to Hamish....he defiantly succeeded
where Volvo failed.

To Hamish and the rest of HLM,
Want to say a big thank you to you all at HLM for the quality remap that has
been carried out on my C70 2.0T, it feels like the beast has been unleashed as
before the remap the car was sluggish and wasnt really that quick off the mark.
Whereas now, it really moves from standstill and on the motorway the other day I
was crusing along at 70mph when I decided to overtake the car in front and put
my foot down a bit,to my amazement the car really picked up speed and before I
realised the speedometer displayed that I was doing 90mph. So overall I am very
very happy with how the car is after the remap and also the service provided by
Hamish and others at HLM was exceptional and very friendly. Many regards, Indi

Just wanted to pass on my sincere thanks for
sticking with the problems of my V70R
cutting out. The car is without doubt
transformed and i've already clocked up 230
miles since hand over on Saturday. I will
defiantly call back when future services are
due and will make a point of writing a
recommendation to Volvo Owners Club
complementing the service.

I am delighted with the tune on my 2008
V70 2.4 D, the midrange torque is immense
and my mpg has gone from 41 to 45.5. I would
be happy to give any potential customers a
recommendation.

Hi,
I would like to thank you
for all your work that you
have carried out on
remapping my van.
It is now amazing. It is so
smooth all the way though
the rev range and it pulls
like a train all the way to
4000rpm. I am over the moon
with the performance. I was
considering changing it for
a 130bhp but i have driven
the 130bhp and i think mine
is better. I cant believe
that Rica can get away with
turning out such crap maps
when there are such good
ones like yours. I have
recommended it to all my
friends.
Every person who has been in
my van since has said it is
amazing. I am now a very
happy man in his van.

Dear Hamish and all those at
HLM.
What have you done to my car
????
I brought you a perfectly
sensible, well mannered car,
a car you could take to see
your Grandma and she’d
approve of, a car that cared
about small animals and
children and a car that
tried to leave the rubber on
the tyres…… where it
belongs.
Some 4 hours later you
handed me back the keys to a
raving psychopath!!!!
Now any sort of over
exuberance with the loud
pedal unleashes a demon from
beneath bonnet that pushes
you back in the seat and
holds you there
simultaneously trying to
remove your teeth, one at a
time, with a pair of pliers
whilst the tyres struggle
for grip in just about any
gear and the torque steer
trys to rip your arms out of
their sockets all you can do
is hang on and try to keep
an eye on the road as your
eyeballs are turned to
liquid by the acceleration
and the gooey residue that
was once your brain runs out
of your nose !! The gentle
prrr has gone to be replaced
by a snarl so angry it could
curdle milk… whilst its
still in the cow ! Never
have I driven a car so eager
to kill the occupants, never
have I driven a car that
reaches 3 figures, sticks
two fingers up, and surges
onwards towards speeds that
make whats left of your
vision blurry.
Then lift off and the demon
climbs back in its box and
the gentle loving nurturing
side of the car returns,
easing you homewards,
caressing and caring for
you…… until next time the
right foot gets a bit heavy
and the loud pedal gets a
bit to much pressure………..
Ive had 3 people ride in the
car so far, and each of them
has proclaimed “Jesus “ when
the demon is let loose, I
have to correct them, I
believe the proper phrase
should be “ Hamish “ after
all I don’t think it was
Jesus that tuned my car.

that makes total sense as if
you knock about 10%
transmission loss off 280
BHP and 400ish NM you get
252 WHP and 380 NM (My dyno
results). Brilliant, my car
really is that
powerful - I've
been dropping it into
conversation with a
few friends (quoting 280 and
400) who own sporty cars but
wasn't confident I was
getting my numbers right,
but I am!
Don't get me wrong - it
drives like it has all that
power/torque and more but
the dyno results were
confusing me - I've read
about wheel and crank
power/torque but hadn't
understood it correctly.
It's all fallen together now
- glad I asked. I've put
off mentioning it as I
realise you may have been
questioned on this before.
I've also confessed having
it remapped to my wife now
but I've reassured here
it'll pay for itself in
lower fuel bills -
eventually! I am getting
5-10% better economy on a
combined cycle - mostly town
driving. I appreciate your
patience in keeping me
informed.

Had my '07' 2.0 TDCi focus remapped
yesterday! Would just like to let
you know it drives absolutely
amazing! 170 bhp was achieved and
403nm of torque!
Well worth the 100 mile trip down
from Derbyshire!!

you to anyone who wants a
tune!!!!!!!
